MENOPAUSAL SYMPTOMS

MODERATE TO SEVERE HOT FLASHES, BONE LOSS, AND VAGINAL DRYNESS DUE TO MENOPAUSE. IF YOURE POSTMENOPAUSAL, YOU MAY BE ALL TOO FAMILIAR WITH THESE COMMON SYMPTOMS.

HOW LONG COULD MY SYMPTOMS LAST?

If you have questions about menopause, be sure to talk to your doctor. Since every woman is different, her experience with moderate to severe postmenopausal symptoms may vary. The average length of time women experience hot flashes due to menopause is 6 months to 2 years. Postmenopausal bone loss usually occurs naturally as women age, due to dropping estrogen levels. And vaginal changes—like dryness—can affect women for months or years.

For women who have had a hysterectomy (also referred to as surgical menopause), symptoms like hot flashes can occur suddenly after surgery and may be more severe.

PREMARIN® (CONJUGATED ESTROGENS TABLETS, USP) MAY PROVIDE RELIEF.

PREMARIN is a medicine used after menopause: to reduce moderate to severe hot flashes; to treat moderate to severe menopausal changes in and around the vagina; and to help reduce the chances of getting osteoporosis (thin, weak bones).

If you are using or are considering using PREMARIN only to treat vaginal symptoms, consider topical therapies first. If you are using or are considering using PREMARIN only to prevent osteoporosis due to menopause, talk with your healthcare provider about whether a different treatment or medicine without estrogens may be better for you.
